after all that tough talk, the moment I hop into a heavy turret, they suddenly have to hide behind a building.

I'll see your tank's main gun and raise you a heavy railgun installation. I've made it a point to get good with these things, to the point that I can nail a dropship's passenger area from across the map and instagib an infantry taking a ride.
and I call them cowards for acting all tough, but the moment they aren't completely, laughably immune to whats coming at them bam! they run away and hide like a little girl. |

so you're going to run away, hide, and try to popout shoot someone who has already drawn a bead on you, and can see you through that mountain you're hiding behind. seeing as your missiles will just be hitting a mountain otherwise. or, will you be abandoning your tank to try and use a swarm launcher on something that has the same one hit kill capability as your tank from well outside the effective range of your swarms? |

actually sides of buildings, structures work just fine, 2 missiles will hit the side of the building other two will skim passed and hit the turret. do it every day, while ur turret hits the mountain only |

that means you are probably close enough for the railgun to just barely clip the side of your tank, even a grazing shot does full damage, or you're on foot and the splash takes you out, or I just go to a different turret, or I just get out, kill some of your teammates while you don't have a good shot lined up on most of the field from hiding and then you get all puffed up and think you're hot **** again, BANG your shields are gone, Bang 1/3 of your armor, and you run away and hide, again.
one thing my parents taught me is to be both vindictive, and thorough. if they think you've gone, give 'em a nice shot in the kidney to remind them just who they've pissed off. let up just long enough to drop their guard and hammer that point home, again and again until they run any time they see you. |

ur missing my point. turrets have a aiming limitation at certain hights, tanks do not thanks to hills ^^ |

aim limitation? they can aim practically straight down, and at about 80 degrees upward, so unless your tank grows some wings, i really don't see what you're talking about.
unless you think I'm talking about dropship parts, which I don't know about since I haven't had a chance to try those yet. I'm talking about the gigantic guns on the ground that can punch through armor and shields like paper. |

What a bizzare topic.... Whatever I eat railguns in 3 shots, never been a threat to me unless I'm being chased by swarm launchers AND too the railgun installation then i'm too busy to notice whats even hitting me, though even then, once I had 2 logies and my own tanks self repair systems going and took the brunt fire of 5 swarm launchers, 2 forge guns a a enemy tank and still won. Tank you logis. |

I just pop the rep and 2 seconds later I get a free +150! (that's a turret and a kill don't you know?) Only someone without map awareness would get killed by such a fragile static structure in a tank. |

Hangon...
So a tank making use of cover is being a coward when they are being fire upon by a weapon that can inflict a substantial amount of damage in a short space of time?
Taking cover and using the terrain to your advantage is not cowardice, it's called playing smart.
However the tanks that are OOB spamming and refuse to make a push forward with their team... Those people are a different story. |

installations dont stand for too long against a decent tank. Downside of the installations is they cant move and they cant repair itself. Another thing is you cant upgrade them for more resistance. And even if you make tanks run away you are getting instantly killed when some 1 calls in a orbital strike on the installation. The redline dont protect you from that. Want to run away? guess what a installation cant run away from a orbital strike. You basically need a logistic LAV with 2-3 remote armor repairs to keep it alive. |

Nothing stopping one of their footslogger buddies, like me, getting to your installation and putting a shotgun in your back whilst you are busy trying to show how skilled you are at using an immobile turret that makes you vulnerable to small arms fire.
(at least the turret design from like two builds ago gave the gunner some cover, bit I digress...)
Anyway...

Ask him how well staying in the red line worked out for him when skytt and I were on the other team (Hint - I enjoyed the orbital fireworks, but also note this was weeks ago so ancient history at this point) |

Bad furries a cool guy, Once I got him to join my group and some newbie just getting into tanks also joined us and we basically steamthefuckrolled the entire enemy team with our 3 tank blitkrieg, we had the enemies pushed up into the mountains slugging us with every AV weapon and even a few of their own tanks they could get. Some of our teams got out some Logis, always good fun.
As for this topic, when did it derail first or second post XD This is stupid so it's fun talking about **** us tank users do to the rest of you to undermine your topics. |

It sounds as though you have some very real anger control issues that would be best worked out with a therapist rather than a FPS game. It appears that you take video game play far too personally, and it that isn't healthy. |
