I recently joined and have started playing and lurking these forums for information. The tutorial window for each section of the game has been overall very helpful. However the market explains the concept of items having a blueprint variation with unlimited supply but no further information is given in the tutorial window or in the actual market.
I had to search the forums for information then double check in game to verify my confusion. As far as I can tell there is nothing in an item description that designates whether it is a infinite use item (BPO) or not (BPC).
I my confusion was due to the fact that the tutorial window said that infinite use items exist, so my first thought while checking the market was to look for them and compare them to consumable items. But because nothing was labeled in such a way (that I can easily tell) I didn't know what I was looking at.
So I guess what I'm suggesting is, if there is something in an item's description that labels it as infinite or consumable that should probably be explained in the tutorial window. If there isn't then there probably should be. |

It seems to me at this point there are no unlimited blueprints on the market but when they are put on there they will be indicated blue, similar to the starter gear. I have been pondering over this all day and am still not certain however. I would be nice to have some clarification indeed. |

Yes, It should probably mimic Eve in some way, with a blue background or some such thing. |

The only infinite use item right now is militia gear. They will probably add them in a future update. Hell they may add it next update. Only time can tell.
But remember, these infinite use items will probably be really really really expensive. |

I played the previous version of this game and still when i bought militia stuff after the reset I bought 10 militia suits when all I need is one....yeah.I had forgotten,Not a big deal but yeah.I see your point.I agree.Would eliminate some confusion but then again a COD or other fps player will probably make this mistake and doesnt even know what a blue print item is.but the tutorial explains it.Does a pretty good job too. They just need to read (new Players). To answer your question there color coded. |

Thank you CCP for improving the market clarity of BPO vs BPC with the Codex release. The new/current system is much better than in the prior build.

All militia assets in the market have BPO variants for aurum, they are indicated by the blue highlight around the icon. Right now the only non militia BPO assets is the valor scout dropsuit. |
