I love this game, but spawning right in front of an enemy tank, or having an enemy with a shot gun spawn right behind me is gettting a little old. Before the introduction of the instant battle feature, I only ever played game types with choosable spawn locations, so I never really noticed until now, but the spawn locations are pretty bad. It would be really nice if it wouldn't spawn you within so much distance of an enemy, and within a further range of an enemy vehicle if at all possible. Giving a higher chance of spawning near teammates would be really nice too. |

maybe have multiple clone spawns. that should give you a way to spawn outside of battle area |

Yeah the default spawns can be really bad. Today my first spawn was between an assault with shotgun, assault with rifle and with an enemy LAV clipping me for damage (not kill the shotgun guy did that) before I could even move at all.
Taking damage literally before you have the chance to even take a step is pretty bad. |

Spawning in randoms are issues in this game. If you're lucky enough to spawn and don't die, and able to set a drop uplink in a hidden location then it's good to go.
Team deathmatch is not really a good game mode, but as starters this is a game mode that everyone must endure.
My best advice is every players should have a loadout that has drop uplinks, and I think CCP wants us to figure out a solution to a problem.
There's a problem with tanks, then set up a loadout with forgegun, av grenades, or swarm launchers.
You die a lot, upgrade your engineer skills to get a better repair speed. Upgrade your shields, armors, etc.
This game is intended for serious gaming. Economy....contracts...planetary conquest? It sounded serious gaming to me. Ain't nothing like COD, but it's almost like MAG fighting for contracts, and that was serious back then. |

How about just being invulnerable until you fire, move 2M from your spawn point, or 15 seconds elapse. Kinda of like jump-cloak.. I would love to be able to at least finish loading the screen before I start taking damage. |

spawns suck and there not going to make them perfect on 14,000+ maps. squad up and use drop links. trust me they're game changers. |

Don't know where you pull that number from, but there will never be 14,000 maps...not unless they perfect procedural generation. There might be many different maps, but there is just no way that each planet gets its own set of maps. |

Is it me, or has this become even worse? I just had a match, where I spawned in front of at least two crosshairs five times in a row...and the following match I either spawned in front of an enemy, or in front of three enemies and a tank...fun times... |

There needs to be some kind of system behind the spawning, such as spawning where allies are located, or somewhere outside of battle. While I agree that we SHOULD be using droplinks, but there's no reason for the game to PUNISH us for using the default spawnpoints. The use of droplinks should be used to gain a tactical advantage over the enemy, not to be use for as a fix for a really bad spawning algorithm. |

It might not be a bad idea to enable the ability to spawn on squad members, similar to the Battlefield series.
Of course, that would make Drop Up-links redundant, so another solution might be in order. |
