Ok,,, so not having played EVE (much), i'm new to CCP as a gaming company.....
I'm perfectly happy with the Beta,,,, problems happen, thats why we're here--- thats life lets move on.....
BUT
my question relates to Dust514 once it launches as a full game.....
What are they like in Eve when a player encounters a problem?? And how do you imagine that'll translate to dust??
Example being the current problem with skillbook purchases (which can cause a disconnect-- charges you the funds but doesnt give a skillbook)....
If this were to happen in the full game,,, are they quick to respond and sort it out?? (in certain situations in DCUO,, you had to provide evidence yourself to the devs to get restored.... and that game supposedly left Beta over a year ago)
I know we're a long way off, but i'm just curious..... and to be honest it'll affect how much time/money i put into my character.... I'm pragmatic with these things,,, dont expect it sorted within 5 minuted of me reporting it lol but if i'm waiting for a week/// they hardly ever help.... then, well, i'll still play ha i'll just be making stress balls with devs faces on them (5million isk each if you're interested)
Basically, I think the question in a nutshell is...... What are CCP like on the cust service side of things when it goes wrong with a full game rather than during a Beta? (something that will inevitably happen to someone somewhere)
(apologies wrong part of forum grrr) |

That period is usually only a week or so long. What I'm saying is, they're pretty good about identifying issues and fixing them.
thanks muchly...
how about in situations where it goes wrong and you dont get items you paid for etc etc....
Are they quick to rectify it??? (like i said in DCUO sometimes they expected you to have the proof,,, or are they good at having the data to hand they need???
