Me. That is right. If CCP make good on this thing where you can buy an AUR item and turn around and sell it for ISK I will sell each and every one of you whatever it is that you want.
See, I spent all day grinding ISK so I could spam vehicles during the US server corp. v corp. matches and not only did they never happen, I have also come to the conclusion that I would pay almost any amount of money to avoid grinding ISK. Since unlike SP it doesn't just add up over time. Grinding ISK is the worst thing ever.
Never again. |

I'll gladly buy AUR items off of you, nearly regardless of price (Nearly, because I'm not going to pay 20X as much for something marginally better). |

I will sell in bulk. For you, my friend, a special deal. Today only and possibly next week as well. I wouldn't normally sell this assault rifle so cheaply, but boy do I hate grinding ISK. Step right up, step right up. |

So as the items will be sellable I'd imagine they'd also be tradable. This could open up personal rewards for certain mercs who sign up for the right eve player run corporation. Making a true player controlled sandbox adventure. Getting contracts from actual players that say you'll be rewarded 20x[random aur item] for the needed success of certain planets. I'm still curious on how they plan to use us dust players to wage wars for eve players. The more I play CBT and read the forums, the more I hear about very revolutionary ideas for gaming, and the more I get excited about whats to come. |

This game does actually have the potential to be groundbreaking, and seems to be shaping up to be. Then there's the added bonus of physical interaction being a great benefit, in the form of orbital strikes for us, and entire planets for them. If executed properly, these two games can revolutionize gaming, and possibly bring it back from the stagnant state it's currently in. |

I want your skinweaves.
I'm too new to have earned any of them. I hope they can be put up for sale on the ISK secondhand market, because I want to collect them all. |

I don't think market integration will happen at launch, check the CSM minutes. |

This is how Eve Online's market has helped keep it stable for nine years. Eve has a similar system with aurum and plex. Some people will still say this is pay to win, but it's not case if an ISK-grinding player can get his hands on an aurum-based weapon with only ISK without having to pay a penny.
I remember in the E3 build there were some players that didn't believe that any more than a handful of other players would be so willing to buy aurum weapons for the sole purpose of just selling them for ISK. I pointed to Eve's plex market as an example of how wrong they are. |

Sadly your markets has er shrunk to Thukker nades and thats about it no ? If the Pay to win aurm proto items that needed less CPU and PG come back tho will defo come calling I know a lot of folks that would have need of a merchant such as you.
Be sure to stay on the forums and launch a forum shop front. Nothing stopping you launching a webbased shop for this kinda thing down the road. |

ISK is easy. I joined a match the other night, before I could spawn it was over, and we apparently won. Guess what, I got over 125,000 ISK for doing absolutely nothing.
SP however, has to be earned. Do nothing, get nothing. Do something, get something. Hacking 3-4 objectives tonight I got 38,000 SP in one match.
I have almost 10 million ISK right now cause it takes so dang long to level up skills, so I simply use militia gear (unlimited) until I have something worth buying with ISK. I have been working all week just so I can get a shield extender that gives me 66 extra HP, and I still need another 150k + SP in order to buy the level 4 upgrade for shields. Absolutely ridiculous.
I don't know how so many people can have so many top-tier upgrades, they must play the game 24/7 and have no life whatsoever. Skill requirements need to be lowered significantly. I don't want to spend the rest of my life trying to level up one portion of my character just to find out i don't like it and can't get my SP back. |

Dust is a CCP game based on the EVE Universe. @leukoplast The SP system used in Dust is basically identical to EVE's which is as it should be. In EVE if you train 256,000 SP into Electronics and then decide you wish you hadn't than that is in all sense just too bad. Your character is going to be always training and expanding its range of skills. Skill requirements do not need to be lowered because as this is an MMO you are expected to get better over time. If you want to be the best player with an Assault Rifle than you shouldn't be able to also be the best player with the Sniper rifle within a few more days. Which is just like in EVE if you train for one ship type and want to train your Tech II weapons than that may take you 30+ days. You don't get to also use Tech II guns of another type within 2 days you have to train another 30+ days to get your other Tech II guns. Dust isn't supposed to be an easy mode game. |

Any idea on what kind of exchange rate we can expect for Aurum to ISK? I've found ISK to be pretty easy to aquire, s I'd gladly pay some of it for some decent Aurum stuff, so long as the price is right.
SP on the other hand... |

If there's market interaction between EVE and Dust than it will probably take on the worth of current EVE value of Aurum. |

IIRC, yes we will. But I think atm, sending ISK from ur character on eve to dust is broken. I will be making stuff for my character as I have some decent Industry skills and can make some T2 things. Wonder what the requirements for building Dust items will be. Also what BPO costs will be...I need to be in Caldari space when these BPOs are seeded |
