Well when I was signing up, I didin't know what part of it shows so As you can see my username fails. How can I make it so the first name is Cpt and the last is Gahou?..PLEASE HELP |

There isn't any way to change ones username.
Only option is to delete that charachter and make a new one and that way get the name right.
This inability to change name is, I believe and hope, a design choise and to enforce the idea that your actions matter, no escaping of ones actions and consecuenses of those actions. |

If you're brand new and nothing assigned to this player yet, you could just delete him, or make a character slot.
Some people have a character name just to use on the forums aside from their name they use to play on. |

create new character is the only way. next wipe is in a few weeks if you don't want to lose you sp or anything you can change it then. |

Character selection screen when you load the game, it tells you what button to press; I think its square.
Anyone know what happens to special items (like Skinweave dropsuits) if you delete the character it's assigned to? |

If you are in game right now then quit game and start again. When at charachter selection screen go to said charachter and press [ ] squeare I think. It says what that button does at lower right corner.
There isn't any way to change charachter in-game atm. Hopefully sometime we get that. |

It is intentional you will never be able to change your name your actions will reflect on you. |

You can create another character and select it from the pull down menu in the upper right hand corner of the forum screen. |

I really think that there should be a way to change your character name for a fee (preferably Aurum). I really want to change my name. It sounds stupid to me now and too complicated. Every time I see my character name I am a bit embarassed . It is hard for other ppl to pronounce and is lame imo. Especially the last name "Amamiya" sounds like mamamiya (Mario) lmao. I would love to change my name to Jade Fox or something, but I hate to start over  . |

No name changes ever (barring spelling errors or capitalization issues petitioned shortly after you make your character).
This is by design and is part of the whole 'Actions have consequences' thing. Think about it, in both EVE and in Dust (once things properly get going) your reputation will mean everything, and if you get make a name as a team killer / corp thief / spy / whatever (these are all things that the game mechanics allow, hell even encourage) then you will have to deal with the consequences. However, if you could just pay for a name change, you could easily escape said consequences, which is against one of the core premises of the game |
