It is because the Killzone games (1-3) Will be arriving in the playstation store in one game pack. If you already have Killzone 2 and 3 then do not buy it. The PS2 classic Killzone can be sold seperatley in the PS2 category. If I remember correctly the whole game pack is $39.99. Also the Killzone ps2 classic is now HD

I cant wait to see the chain gun rico used to have and the cinematics. My question is will we have the same cheat codes on Killzone HD like we did in the old version of the PS2?

More to defeat again my fellow comrads.

And the story is more predictable than gears of war people dying.

Never understood why the stealth loadout gave you a weapon without a suppressor. The balance of that game was just stupid.They should've let you set your own loadouts.

Killzone 2 and 3 have terrible story, terrible characters. I looked up the original Killzone and watched the cutscenes, and the characters were more interesting and varied (not just bland military meatheads), even with some clever humorous dialogue. You could also play as each of the 4 characters for different gameplay experiences. One of the characters was even half Helghast. Killzone's world is rich and interesting, but the enemy is always presented as monolith with no culture beyond war and industry. We never gt to see normal civilians, their struggles, or any dissenting resistance movement against the Helghast government. We just see evil politicians, and faceless masked dehumanized soldiers shown as monsters. If you read the backstory its clear that the ISA and UCN are the bad guys, but I'm forced to play as the oppressive ISA scum. The world has so much potential, I wish there was an open world game where you play as a Helghast in a resistance movement surviving the badass giant bugs of Helghan, fighting against the remnants of the collapsed totalitarian government, and resisting UCN occupation. You could harvest petrusite to use for cool weapons and stuff. They really should step up the use of native fauna as dangerous enemies instead of giant obstacles, there is much potential in that. They really should use the class abilities from multiplayer in the singleplayer to provide more scifi, and more varied playstyles. Multiplayer of Killzone 2 and 3 has always been full of spawn camping, bad design choices, and unbalanced classes. Despite this, they have been quite fun.
