what type of load outs are you using?
what heavy machine gun is the best?
Iv'e been using a heavy load out for about an hour, it just don't feel like i'm strong in CQC. The aiming reticule is a small dot so you can't aim as you would with a big ass gun like that .
what i want to see with this load out, is people understanding your bad ass and weak from a distance.

sorry man but the current HMG loudout is broken there is no way for you to be a badass with feathers shooting gun and a fat turtle suit that can't survive CQC against scout or assault (ironically cqc should be the HMG kill zone)
i played the new build for 3 weeks and dumped all my SP on HMG & heavy suit but it still doesn't work as intended sure you might have good matches now and then but its so kitten hard to survive in this class damn i miss Replica build's HMG & suit.
best advice i can give you is: go type-II suit with 2x Heavy dmg mod and armor rep, having more shield is way better than armor tanking because you can regenerate your shield faster while the armor takes ages to regenerate and once its down, you are dead the next encounter |

Definetly go type -II shield and add shield extenders instead of damage mods . Since you are a shield armor skill up those first
I am now 540 shield and whatever the armor is I think 500. I use the shield booster as well.
Get used to the hmg and it is great. Be careful at distance stay close to a wall or building.
The other option is calling in a lav and riding around in it jumping out and mowing them down jump back in and do it all again.
Don't even bother skilling past level one the advance suit only offers one extra slot and is not a shield heavy. My shield heavy can have more overall hit points than anything I can put together on the advanced suit.

Are you upgrading your weaponry skill? It raises 3% boost damage per level if you read the description.
My prototype breach Forgegun has 15% boost damage because I have a level 5 weaponry skill, on top of that I have a level 3 proficiency which gives 3% boost damage per level. |
