I like this game alot especially with my key/mouse setup. it feels like im playing a desktop game that way and its much easyer to hit someone (especially scoped).
Try using key/mouse with a tactical assault rifle(1 shot rifle) and u will notice what i mean.

just take a USB keyboard and a USB mouse and plug it into the front of your PS3 or into a USB hub into your PS3 and then play the game with it. No real setup needed except for plugging it in. |

Cool thanks, my only issue is that I have one of the original PS3's and only two USB ports :-/
So, I can use my mouse/keyboard but no headset, damn. Ah well, thanks for the info anyway gents. See you on the battlefield. |

I've got my headset charging off of my computer USB port for the same reason, now my controller is able to be recharged and I can play with my KB&M while talking on my charged headset :) |

Found the mouse sensitivity to be a bit lacking. How was that for you? |

You could always buy a ps3 media hub, or get a wireless kb/mouse that only uses one USB port.
I think this one is for fat ps3's -

I have a cheap GE $20 wireless KBM package that I bought from target. Now, it sure as hell isn't a gaming kit, but it works and it only uses one USB slot :) |

I'm going to have to try this. Last games I played using kb/m was Unreal Tourny 04 and Battlefield 1942. |

I hate the KB of the KB/M setup,so the thing that I've been doing on occasion is to use the Dual Shock in my left hand to walk and use the mouse to aim and shoot. You have to set the DS3 to Classic control scheme if you want to use the L1 for jump, instead of aim, since you already have aim as the right click. Also, you'll have to take your hand off of the mouse to reload.Wish they would let you map extra buttons for gaming mouses.
Works pretty good, except that the mouse still sucks for turning speed. If they up the rotation, then I'll use this setup exclusively. |

Use a POWERED USB Hub to get more ports.
Mouse is nice for sniping, but running around as a scout doing shotgun or SMG has been difficult.. even at MAX sensitivity, it takes too much movement of the mouse/trackball to turn.
Keeping the turning caps as they are, if they just gave us much higher input sensitivity, and a sensitivity toggle, that might help.
But for camping, mouse is nice. That's about it :(
I'd much prefer they get rid of the turning speeds completely and gave us some aiming "wobble" for a few MS, based on how quickly we've turned. Keep it the same for circle strafing, but quicker turning has some inaccuracy, the more the faster you turn. That could help mice run around normally, but keep the different dropsuits unique. |

Has anyone tried the two handed mouse/nunchuck items out on the market. I see people play other FPS with them, wonder how they would do with Dust. |
