Hi Fellow Clones and CCP devs.
I'm currently trying to pilot dropships, and the problem I found that for some reasons (maybe wind blows... :p ) Some times the dropship fall on is flank, and there is no way to put it in a correct position.
Maybe input a small fonction to "make it stand on its gears"? :)

summon a jeep and smash into the sid eof it, if you can.... don't forget to jump out of the jeep at the last moment.

L2 will sometimes flatten you back out and out of necessity I've gotten quite skilled at the LAV smash correct. Now it is one thing when this happens because you are low and get hit with swarms and you get flipped or it's pilot error from clipping something when flying low, but this should NEVER happen during deployment. I've never seen a RDV drop a HAV or LAV on it side, I doubt it is even possible and it shouldn't be for a Drop Ship either. When they get deployed on their side a LAV smash correct is your only option as you can't even enter the ship from the top or bottom. |

if you are stuck on the left/right side then one of the gunners can shot the ground with a missile launcher. That can help you to get up again. |
