I can't tell what it is exactly, but every time I try to drive, and when I'm in a close firefight, my map will pop up and screw me over. I think it has something to do with the left stick, because I had it happen a couple times when I'm trying to sprint as well. Either way, It's a huge pain. |

i've been having this problem all along. sometimes it's the map, sometimes it's the player list, but it's usually when i'm under fire and panicking. although the issue is intermittent, i've been able to reproduce it in at least 50% of attempts.
here's how to reproduce. you'll only need the left analog stick:
- start by standing still
- start walking to the left, or to the right
- keeping the stick in that direction, push it in (that is, press L3)
there should be no delay between steps 2 and 3. you pretty much want to move the stick out to the side, then in, in one motion. this will also work if you move forward or backward instead of left or right.
for me, these steps (randomly picking one of the four directions each time) have yielded the following results:
- open the player list
- fire weapon, then open the player list
- switch weapons
- open deployment menu
- reload
- throw a grenade, then open the deployment menu
- jump and change weapon
- open player list, then open the deployment menu over it
- show the player list for a moment, then switch to the map
- fire weapon, then open player list, then switch weapon while player list stays open

I've had the same problem, but it opens the vehicle deployment list. I've also had problems with sprinting instead of throwing grenades when I try to change direction and throw at the same time, which may or may not be related. |
