I heard about a Forge Gun and someone said you can mine with it, does that mean you can make things on this game, too?
I see the gun in the shop but, how do I meet the requirements to use it? Is there a certain class you can start with to already have the skills? |

you need to have weaponry level 4, forge gun operation level 1, and amarr heavy dropsuit level 1, since only heavy suits can use them. they are heavy anti-vehicle cannons basically.
not sure what to start as to get the heavy skill right away unfortunately, but you dont start out with a forge gun, you have to spec into them. |

no, its all about lore. in the description of the forge gun, it says that the forge gun was initially a terribly potent mining laser type device made for turning mountains into swiss cheese. then they found out they could use them instead to turn tanks into swiss cheese and that a heavy suit could actually hold one and use it without killing the operator so it was repurposed.
hence the name forge gun and not giant leet anti-tank lazor. |
