Kain I was standing right next to you last night in one when we were playing 3 fat snipers . It tends to be my cost saving one when I'm not in my type II's .

The event was called "Global Carnage" and was during the weekend where IGN Prime members got to play the beta for free.
The idea was that if beta players were able to rack up a million kills over the course of the event we would get a million ISK, a million SP, and a special drop suit.
Looks like we got drop-suits based on something that we did during the event. Not exactly sure what. I only had one character at the time that started as the Gallente scout class, but I pushed it into assault. Didn't get the heavy suit. But got the Logi suit.
Edit* here is a link. Just says you get a logi suit for logging in. Maybe the heavy was for something else? |

well assault was for beta event weekend 1 so i doubt any were earned before that and i swear ive played all the events until now even the ones with specific times including fighting in a corp match |

The heavy was never announced as a prize for any event. My bet is it was thrown in as a bonus, but like the first time they tried handing out 1M SP, it got bugged and very few actually got it. |

I'd rather have CCP drop the information on how and which events equated to which dropsuits. As I pointed myself I attended every event and have every e-mail regarding these events. I only got three of the four myself. No, heavy. So all that anyone is doing is speculating as to how the heavy was even obtained. |

Just sifted through all of my emails. The heavy was never mentioned as a reward. June 28th = Assault, July 4th = (doesn't say) Assume the scout because I logged in that weekend, July 11th= Logistics. Could not find an email for July 18th, if someone could check that for me. I know I participated in every event and only received 3/4 and missing the Heavy. |

Not trying to stir the jealousy pot, I got all 4 hadn't even thought about the heavy not being mentioned until reading this. I've been in the beta quite awhile and have made an effort to participate in all events. I've no idea what the reason was. |

Call it a theory. Was a guess. Could be wrong. Need more data. Have not seen "skinweave" mentioned in conjunction with any other event though. As pointed out in the edit above about the dev thread for that event, "Just says you get a logi suit for logging in. Maybe the heavy was for something else?" |

June 28 event gave us the assault.
July 11 event gave us the logistics.
I don't see anything about the scout or heavy suits in the news. |
