I know we have Drop uplinks, Dropships, and Reanimation clones for spawning. What about Squad Spawning?
Edit: It worked very well to Killzone 2 and 3, and Battlefield. |

No, I'd rather not have someone just be a spawn point because he's grouped with you.

Edit: It worked very well to Killzone 2 and 3, and Battlefield. Well, lets think about this for a second; doing this mid match would devalue the uplink and would not fit too well within EVE technology, but for the starting point? In real world combat you go as a squad and deploy as a unit, so having a squad start together on the map (rather than this wierd scatter kitten we got going on now) would make a lot of sense from both gameplay and lore perspectives. |

What BlacMage said. I would like to start an ambush without being spawn-bushed. I don't know how many times I enter battle next to the enemy scout with a shotgun. Sure i killed my share of folks spawning at the beginning of an ambush the same way. Only 'cause I know if I give them a chance they won't return the favor. |

Squad spawn would be fine if you made it a module that required a command suit to use. Make the command suit squad spawning be worse than drop uplink beacons (such that it maybe takes 30 seconds or so to squad respawn). Drop uplinks wouldn't be made useless, because they'd allow for faster respawning, and they'd allow the squad leader himself to respawn at an advanced spot, which is good.
The other part of this would be adding in other command suit modules that give bonuses to your squad. I believe they'd mentioned this will be included next build with command suits, anyway. But if you make taking the squad spawn module mean that you don't have a +weapon damage, or +armor, or -sig radius module, then you have yet another reason to use drop uplinks instead of squad spawning. |

Actually I like the idea of allowing this with a Command suit module. It would be kind of like the Cynosural Field Generator in EVE. |

I guess personally i'd like it to be left to a vehicle or mod you deploy, |

I don't think its needed, but I'm not necessarily against it. There would need to be a dropsuit module for someone to equip in order to be a spawn point, and it should not allow spawning too close; it sucks when you kill 2 people and have one just appear and kill you when your health is low from the battle. It should be a kind of drop uplink prototype level, if its in an even higher category. This would at least be interesting. |

Nice feedback guys. A module would be nice, and only certain module can have it, like the Command Dropsuit. They can tweak it just like in Ghost Recon, you can't spawn unless he is being attacked or next to an objective. What do you guys think about that? |

Ehhh interesting but idk,
I'd rather have command modules that increase the guys around you.

The reason why I mentioned Squad spawning is that to keep the groups intact. Only the squad leader should have the ability to use it, eventhough he is using the command suit.
There should be limitation:
1. You have to be a squad leader and must have a certain suit like Command dropsuit. 2. You can't spawn if the squad leader is in a middle of the battle (Similiar to Ghost Recon) 3. You can't spawn if the squad leader is near the objectives 4. If the squad leader is injured or died, you can't spawn.
What do you guys think?
Edit: Ambush has a random anywhere spawn, and sometimes you spawn in a wrong place at a wrong time, which is not fair if you use your most expensive suit and died instantly. |
