As someone who can say "I was there" thanks for the write up. A lot of these don't go back to the beginning (if you can even call the GNW that - hell, every notable figure or corp in Eve's history since beta has had a hand somewhere in the chain of events that make up this 'war', 10 years now if you count the spill over rivalries from beta).
I'll be reading this and be sure to blast you for bias :P |

Take a look on the first year of the war and when the war ended.
Mind you if you read any of it or skipped all of it, this is a player generated war, not something ccp forced upon the players. |

If you all want anymore information on Goonswarms history just ask, i've a lot of information and i'm probably going to put it into other threads, possibly smaller depending on the war, to be fair, the first great war was a massive thing for us hence the detail in there.
Just check out the videos, they are my best part and there's some really impressive stuff there. |

I can post it if you like and if there's enough interest.
EDIT: I may post more information about the lead up to the first great war before i do the second, give people an idea of the build up around it and a better idea of Goonwaffe/Swarm's history. |

Actually, I'll post a timeline leading from the very start of EVE online to about 6 months ago, i'll also post individual threads for important milestones with more information in them and link them in the timeline thread. Should give people a much, much overall better idea.
I'd be open for other people to add their stuff to the contribution and then add it into the timeline thread too. |
