So i have randomly been chosen as a squad commander, and get the little pop ups about orbital strikes and stuff. I was also in a match with another commander who was actually calling targets. my question is:
Where the hades is the option to a) call in an orbital strike and b) call attack and defense targets? Cause i dunno what i am suppose to hit if i wind up being a SC to do that stuff. |

Press right on the d-pad, and it will bring up a menu - you will find orbital strike there! 
To bring up the command radial menu, hold R2 and click the right stick! (Or you can bring up the map (down on the d-pad and choose targets from there, but not as safe and fast.) |

Also don't bring it up while you are surrounded by enemies like a dummy (me)!  |

Hit right on the d pad like you are calling in a vehicle to call in. Ortibal strike
To mark targets, hold in L2 (like you are switching weapons) and then h old in R3 and select attack/defend etc. |
