It feels like Dust tries to be a lot like Eve, just a look at the Dropsuit fitting screen makes that quite apparent and its not a bad thing. Eve is awesome and one of a kind. One of the greatest memories of Eve I have is of the first time I ditchet my cruiser and stepped into a destroyer, it felt like such a big step up and looking back I now realize that my old Catalyst was nothing compared to my Thorax Cruiser, ohh its good looks were only rivaled by how mighty it was!!
I would like to see something similar in dust, imagine skilling up your Heavy up to level IV along with Dropsuit Command, and at last buying the MTAC skillbook for a few million isks. MTACs could be the Heavy evolution, halfway between suit and vehicule, bearing a price tag matching HAVs. Imagine the evolution of the Scout suit, the Stealth suit, fitted with an integrated stealth generator, allowing you to blur past ennemy lines. How about the assault getting 2 light weapon slots for ultimate versatility.
It would give dusters something to look forward to and even more specialization. Anyway that was my two cents, what's your thought? |

Coolness, I like the stealthiness idea - maybe with some limits on load outs (it would cost a lot of cpu and power to run a stealth module), and I think the assault versatility argument is a good one. I'd love to have a shotgun and an assault rifle on one load out.

I like it in concept. I'm not so sure about trying to shoe-horn MTACs in there, but having very expensive, somewhat more powerful suits that you'd save up for and use in corp matches would be cool. In general, though, emphasizing their price but making it only for moderate actual power gain would be the way to go. So it wouldn't be a big steamrolling necessarily if your poor corp with regular dropsuits were to fight one with these advanced dropsuits, but it'd allow wealthy merc companies to throw their weight around a little better. |

I would love having more customizition and dropsuit progression.
imagine a heavy dropsuit with a built in spawn point. it would be a terrifing thing to have to defend against. |

I bet command suits will be able to fit spawn modules. Squad spawning is relatively common in multiplayer FPS games these days. |
