This may just be a lag thing, my controller, etc., but I've noticed that during a few games I've been able to enter the past 24 hours I have lost some controls of my dropsuit. For example, jumping just stops working. I've been on flat ground running towards either a turret or HAV and I lose my jump when fired upon. I'm not taking hits, just that their firing is in my direction. More than once during similar scenarios I simply can not jump. I've at times lost my trigger response too. I have ammo, no need to reload, I just can't fire at any thing. It's weird. I can still run, I'm not skipping around as I have in the past with lag, it's just that part of my controls drop.
I've experienced this running solo up mountain paths (loss of fire and/or lack of jump) with no immediate combat, as well as combat as described above. I should point out that it's late and I'm tired, so sorry if I'm repeating myself! ha.
Anyway, just putting it out there to fish out anyone else experiencing similar events. Perhaps it's my hardware, but wanted to to post and see what else may be out there.
dig.

Do you have stamina? It takes stamina to jump. |

Hm. Could be it then. Honestly, I assume I had stamina as I was running to get to a location. It's quite possible that I ran out the moment I tried to jump. I will test it, thanks. It is late so I would put money on me overlooking the obvious.
Off topic, somewhat, it took me a week to realize that my charge sniper rifle required a .... wait for it ... "charge" (i.e., holding the trigger for several moments to fire) to shoot the damn thing? lol. I thought I ...well. I don't know what the hell I thought was wrong. Subtle discoveries like this are exciting, I suppose. I just wish they were a bit easier to find. Players seem to know so much more than I, at times. Is this really trial and error, or is there documentation more than the generic user's manual sticky link?
Thanks, Shiro, for the nudge in what's probably the right direction.
