you have been disconnected because of an internal error. please contact [email protected] if you are unable to reconnect
I was in the pre-game lobby walking around with everybody then that message popped up. telling me to hit 'x' to continue. I just waited and the game loaded asking me to pick my spawn but that message was still there so I had to hit 'x' to make it go away and it kicked me all the way out to the Dust 514 screen. I hit start and selected my character and after like 30 minutes of game play I was back in the captains quarters playing around with my fittings. Then I went to the market to buy mods but it didn't load anything so I backed out of the neocom and hit 'o' Open Instant Battle and my game froze. None of the buttons I hit responded. Only when I hit 'Select' to chat did the side window pop open and the PS button ofc worked but the game never responded other than that so I had to 'quit game' and start it over again.
Is either of these problems happening to anybody else? I did that stupid port forwarding thing already and my Ps3 is the DMZ host. |

Just joined into a game and I only have one fitting set up right now. When I tried to use the fitting it said 'Invalid fitting!' I tried to click 'Restock' but the window that pops up to restock the item is just continuously loading and doesn't let me confirm the restock. I hit edit then select the module I'm out of. When I hit restock there it doesn't even do anything. When I hit replace and shows Selected to fit window non of my assets are being displayed. Market place won't load either. So when I finally got kicked out of the game for inactivity, (I sat on the restock screen waiting for it to load). I went to fitting > dropsuit fitting to restock my fitting now it is showing all of my modules (that aren't Militia) as empty. When I know for a fact I still have 26 assault rifles and Scrambler pistols. Anyways yet again I can't Restock, Replace or anything yet again. So then I tried to create a new fitting but when I clicked create new it doesn't provide me with any dropsuit options... In my neocom the only thing that seems to be working is my character sheet, skills and the ability to walk around, maybe... I Just clicked 'o' Open instant Battle and my controls just froze again like they did in my first post I guess I'm going to have to restart the game yet again so I can continue playing.
...Well at least your forums are working... |

Hey. You have a fan it seems.
Scroll through this forum and you'll see a ton of posts describing your same situations. Invalid Fittings have been common, as well as general interface lockups such that you experienced backing out of some screens (battle screens mostly?). I hate to say it's common, but those are the most common issues lately. I hate to say "it's BETA" ...*shivers*, but, unfortunately, well. It is still BETA. =(
Looks like some have better luck than others. Some seem to prefer mornings than evenings suggesting server load. Some think closing and restarting the game helps, others think rebooting the PS3 helps. Who knows really. Point is, it is well known. Those of us who enjoy the game and it's potential endure. Hopefully that will pay off. We'll see I suppose.
Good luck with it,
- me. |

Okay good was trying to figure out if it was the game or just me. I clicked 'quit game' in the playstation menu and relaunched the game. When everything loaded I was able to apply skill points but when I tried to do a instant battle it froze up again. But after I reset my PS3 it is working good again. Maybe my PS3 just needed to be restarted... |

It's definitely not you. It may be client-side as some say restart/reboot works, but I really don't know. I HAVE been able to join games after a reboot, yet after other reboots I still can not. I'm guessing it's just coincidental from my experience. Until it's fixed, or DEVs chime in with feedback it's impossible to tell.
Here's a link with others sharing the same frustration: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=34272&find=unread
Again, good luck. Try not to break a controller in the meantime ;)

Thanks for the link. And no worries the controllers are bubble wrapped. |
