Gun customization is not being discussed at the moment which is why we have variants now to account for it.
It doesnt mean it wont ever happen.
remember there is no such thing as the final build. |

It has been stated that we are only seeing a small portion of the weapons. My expectations are twice as many weapons that what we see now (pure speculation on my part). |

There wont' be a "final build". There will be a release build. Then things will keep getting added over time. |

I have to agree with bengarmin the build for launch would be likely nothign changes from here and then when it comes to scopes and noises.
though I have been told there is a scrambler pistol with a scope now. |

yeah it will. No attachements either, go play CS:GO if you want to have a gun that has an attachment, sounds good,and takes skill to fire [Source = Nova Knife] |

That's one of the coolest elements of EVE (and in theory, DUST).
Hopefully what the OP mentioned will be added by launch though. It is a pretty basic addition. |

There is nothing basic about gun addons at all
Item ids and all that have to be exported and you just basically blew up the nubmer of item ids per math from current 320 ids to 640+ and these are just inaccurate numbers.
Then toss in balance as well. this is almost an expansion feature by itself. |

CS:GO has no attachments........
OT: the game needs more weapons, sorry but console peeps are very shallow and if every gun is gonna look the same then brace urself for failure
what happened to the E3 2011 AR??? the one with the underslung Pro Pipe that was in the 09 alpha vids?
if CCP releases this game with 1 gun for each category (AR, SMG, HMG etc ) then thats ******* ******** |
