So after playing around with both controller and Mouse/Keyboard, I definitely prefer the Mouse/Keyboard combo. However, i notice that the controller has a much smoother and quicker movement speed across the screen. This makes the controller vastly superior to the Mouse when it comes to tight combat in small spaces when you have to quickly turn around or change direction. I've also noticed that when using large turrets that it takes many many repeating drags across my mouse-pad to turn the turret around.
In short: I ask that you please put a little work into making the mouse controls a little smoother.

Also could we PLEASE have the option to fully map out our own controls for both controller and keyboard? Not just different layout choices. |

i can change my turn speed with the mouse by increasing its DPI (hardwareside, logitech g700)
i support your idea of being able to fully remap controls, we need a quick weapon switch option :( |

God, I totally agree with how much it takes to turn around. I know they want to balance it against the DS3, but I really hope they can give us a little more speed. It seems like acceleration isn't unfair.

I only spent a little time messing with a headset (nobody seems to talk anyway so why bother) but I was never sure if mine was working either.
Speaking of broken controls, has anyone else had their mouse suddenly lock out? I can't seem to figure out a cause, but once every battle or so my mouse will suddenly completely stop responding (though it stays lit up and connected) and just spam whatever I was doing when it locked out - if I was shooting, my character will just face one direction and spray bullets into nowhere. I'm trying to figure out if it's my mouse, ps3, or just the game before I take it to the bugs forum... |

This is a great topic and much needed discussion. Not only do we need to be able to change our mouse sensitivity we need to be able to hot key our keyboards too.. There are many things i cant do with my KBM alone like armor reps for vehicles and what not.
Also Felix i think this is just you i havent had that happen to me yet and ive been playing KBM since the day they gave it to us. |
