It is 1:50cst in the US, I got back in Dust 45 minutes ago after taking a break from game due to frustration. I have yet to see the inside of a battlefield....
45mins sitting in MQ, restarting, seeing "The Connection has been lost to the host or The Battle you have requested is no longer available."
This is the definition of unplayable. This is an awesome game when it can be played, when it can't, it is a glorified chat client that occassionally lets me shoot someone.
Please on downtime tonight, look at the connectivity issues server side and don't bring servers up until it is resolved. If I was the only one having these problems, I would call my ISP, but I'm not.

Since 9am bat I have been trying to play but all I get is u have been disconnected or invalid suits. I have not had a battle I took a break and tried again now and get disconnected again.
Please can u help

Beware of the it's beta reply, since this new build they have broke more than they have improved and I have only played a handful of times due to these and other issues , one step forwards three steps back springs to mind. |

Yes I am aware. And I have been in this beta since the build before E3. I would argue that E3 and the build before it were more stable. Even though you would only be able to get in 2-3 games before it would hard lock your PS3 and you'd have to restart. At least in that build you were able to get IN GAME and not have performance issues. |

I have also been able to play since the latest patch... Here is the series of events I have gone through (and still can not play)
Upgraded to patch 2.01
Played 2 matches. Worked fine, played well.
Discovered I could use keyboard and mouse, Turned off PS3, connected keyboard and mouse.
Turned on PS3, and tried dust - when I loaded the game I got the 'invalid fit' error
closed out of the game, tried to reconnect, when I loaded a game it would sit at the player list but never load any player names, even my own.
When I would cancel from the player list, i no longer could move my character or use the start button to access my settings. Only the select button for chat still worked.
This continued for 2 days, before I finally uninstalled Dust from my PS3, and disconnected the keyboard and mouse
I reinstalled, and had multiple connection drops attempting to download the client. I wanted until 3am when internet traffic is generally lesser.. and Managed to redownload the client and 2.01 patch.
Now I can open the instant battle menu... I still do not have any player names load, and it will forever sit in limbo at that menu... but now I can cancel the menu and walk around the captains quarters again.
I bought my PS3 just for Dust, about a year ago. Im looking forward to good things from this game.
I work at a software company, I understand fully the title 'beta'
Hopefully this post can help as a 'user story' for their SCRUM programming routine :) |

Been saying it for the past 5 months we need a weekly feed back post from the devs about issues and our concerns on these forums not the irc but we are like mushrooms at the moment kept in the dark.
post anything negative and you get jumped on but things aren't good at the moment and there is nothing save skill points to differentiate this fps from the rest out there eve lore is not enough alone. |

Yes and they said they would work on it, but I havent seen the results as of yet.
I have all kinds of respect for this game, i see the potential. Some of the features have improved, but stability is a big issue. It's just not there.
