planning on switching from the fat old PS3's to a new slim one, but i do not want to lose this character.
in the future will DUST have character transfers just like EVE?
and yes i am aware that we will be reset when the game launches, but just out of curiosity. |

The concept of a character transfer makes no sense in EVE or DUST. |

In eve it takes REAL TIME, not able to earn SP via battleing, to train skills, so people sell them for ingame isk, and they get transfered inbetween real active accounts, IE if i wanted a titan pilot, id find a seller, bid on it, hope i win, give isk, account name [NOT PASSWORD] over, and get the character 12hrs later after he confirms the transfer. Its also a process that can't be scammed, because CCP will investigate it if you make a petition saying the seller scammed you. |

Yes, I am aware of how it works in EVE. I've played it since 2007.
I don't think that's what he's talking about, though.
Get your new PS3, log into PSN, download DUST and log in. There is your character. There is nothing to "transfer". |
