people are asking, "If I buy the Merc Pack do I get access to the game?"
so to be clear. My friend has no Key. If he buys the Pack in the PSN store, will this get them in>?

If you look on Dust514.com, AKA this website, the front page has a picture captioned in very large letters: "Full Beta Access included with Mercenary Pack". |

Either do that, or he buys PS+ for 1 month, which will get him into the beta and the merc pack for $18 total with the PS+ subscription fee. He can also check out other stuff as well. |

Everyone should get PS+. Not only will it get you the merc pack half price, but it will get you 3 PS3 games a month, 1GB cloud storage for saves, access to God of War: Ascension beta, and much more. |

I know this. To be sure I need to ask someone wh actually did it. Everyone i know was sent a key through EVE account management. thanks anyway. |

I've also had fantastic discounts such as the Mercenary Pack at half price, and many more games and discounts since January when I renewed my subscription. I paid -ú39.99 for the subscription and got all this plus cloud storage plus exclusive items plus full game trials, and I still have until January next year before my subscription ends, so how exactly is PS+ a waste of money?

I'm a ps plus member since it came out. Never was disappointed. It's like Gamestop member card, but it gives free stuff. |

PS+ is, by far, the best deal in all of gaming. It boggles my mind when I see people on my friends list that don't have it. |

+1 on PS+. It's only $50 a YEAR. Less than some games. I've already more than made up that money in "free" games. Plus it has discounts for other games. |

Just to add some info to this (OP) I believe the free access for plus subscribers ends on the 4th so if ur buddy wants to get in that way he should be sure and do it by then :) |
