I just came to a simple idea about HAVs, and other vehicles. I get 50 points for a kill. 60 for a destruction. So if I blow up an Onikuma with an AV grenade, I can get up to 210 points. If I fire some swarms at a dropship, I can get up to 410. If I spend all match hammering at an HAV, I can get up to 210... so why the hell should I?
I'm pretty sure this may be a reason why no one cares to even try to fight HAVs, but will all whip out a Shock fitting for a dropship. We need bigger rewards to go after bigger threats, simple as. |

Agreed and a larger ISK bounty for taking out a tank too considering the ISK sunk into multiple fittings to blow the damn thing up in the first place. |

In addition to vehicles I think more points should be give for bigger infantry threats. If an enemy is on a kill streak, especially ridiculous kll streak 30+ kills more points should be given for taking that individual down. Maybe even more points should be given for maintaing a kill streak. |

I'm not arguing to weaken HAVs or Dropships, or the advanced or proto versions, just to get more points to kill the advanced or proto versions, and more points for a HAV than a dropship than an LAV.
As for the killstreak thing, maybe that's how bounties can work... they accrue one over a battle and it gets cashed to whomever ends their streak. Noone cashes, bounty disappears. |

Agreed, WarPoint value should be related ti ISK value of the target. Honestly this shouldn't be limited to just HAV or even vehicles in general either, why should someone running a default fit give the same WP value as someone who's running pure proto gear? The WP system should reward effective tactics and game play rather than a focus on dog-piling the noob (or failing that the squishy). Because in most situations that's the opposite of the most effective tactic to use. |
