Agreed. there are Hackers already screwin up the game.... its not a high kill streak (i've gone 20/0, 18/0, 16/0 MANY times just runnin & gunnin) itz when you shot them in the head & make contact but no damage then their 1 bullet kills you.... ive had this happen many many timez |

i havent witnessed any that i thought were hackers but if there are it's most likely the KMB/mouse ppl.. PC gamers seem to have a higher ratio of hacker fanatics than console and being that it is they're self proclaimed more serious gamers.. but this is just speculation idk really for sure..
on a more serious note now, OP.. You don't come into this game with your leet experience and awesome skills from other FPS and think it's going to automatically make you the top player.. most of us are from other games also but it doesn't really mean anything here..
And deadpool pretty much /threaded this worthless thread with truths but I'll go ahead and add that you need to do your homework as to how this is played or squad up with people who know what they're doing and make sure you follow their command or else you will just die despite all your previous experience and success in other games..
noobs ragequitting and making rage posts about it is nothing new to us here and only makes you look bad, we know there's problems with the game but your personal bad KDR is really not one of them.
alot of people troll local chat for squad members because they're not clued into where the real channel for that is (kinda kept secret to keep annoying mouthy noobs out of it) but there are still some decent players that troll local chat for squad members
and if you're just replying "LOL I DONT NEED A SQUAD I'M TEH BEST AT BF3!!!" like most of the noobs do there in local you'll just end up back here crying more if you havent actually already ragequit...
Most of those people in local chat tho only seemed interested in having a little chatroom to btch in instead of actually playing the game..
(saved draft is driving me fkn insane fix this BS already) |

Oh and this is a minor complaint but put in some FAQ's about vehicle guides and stuff. Seriously, I'm brand new to the Eve universe and when I loaded this game up I had NO CLUE what I was doing at ALL. I feel to a certain extent I still might not.
I actually do agree with the last part. While some stuff is explained, there are many aspects in the game that are trial and error with minimal explanation. Not much of a problem now, for a new player in beta. (they'll learn, and when stats are finally reset at launch, they'll be fine)
However, for players new to Dust at launch, this will be a frustrating aspect, that MAY drive players away if they are on the fence. Particularly if there is no way to respec your skill points. (for clarification: I'm not saying there should be a way to respec, but there needs to be well laid out tutorials) |

LOL yea i noticed that too...
as in the words of Walter Sojack: "...12 year olds, dude.."
no serious squad leader will want him in a squad for that reason alone.. it gets tiring dealing with kids on the mic who won't shut up or just do whatever they want and then blame everyone else in the end for their bad KDR.. then when you leave them they try to start a campaign of harassment against you because they are offended when you abandon them..
my name is immature also but it dont matter anymore i already have my roster of ppl who know me on the mic to not be as bad as my name and forum trolling make me sound.. |

Mister Dickbutt wrote:I'm sorry but I have to say I'm extremely disappointed that there's hackers already. When people can go 15+/0 in a game with 16+ players on each side there's a serious problem. (And don't tell me the PS3 can't be hacked, go look at forums before you troll.)
Further, I know there is nothing wrong with my aim especially in close quarters combat, so when I shoot a full clip into someone and they take half the damage they should (simple math per bullet vs. what the maximum HP could be given the beta) that tells me there's server delay and my bullets arent connecting with what I see on screen. Currently, I'm unaware of a way to find out what my ping is.
1. Start looking for obvious hackers 2. Fix your server issues with regards to the delay
Until this is resolved, I'm not going to have any fun playing this game. This game is quickly going the way of BF 3 and MW 3.
Oh and this is a minor complaint but put in some FAQ's about vehicle guides and stuff. Seriously, I'm brand new to the Eve universe and when I loaded this game up I had NO CLUE what I was doing at ALL. I feel to a certain extent I still might not. First off, your name suits you VERY well. Second, you just suck. I can go 25+/0 in a game legitimately, between my sniper and assault fittings, and I am not anywhere near the best at close-combat. You wanna talk science? How about recoil and bullet-dispersion? How about lead-time? Man up and adapt or move on. Also, please tell me HOW anyone "hacking" this game would affect your bullets? I really am curious. |

About respec thing, maybe do similar thing that EVE has that when one initially starts a new char they have 2 respecs (neural remaps they are called) to alleviate those inevetable mistakes in SP allocation. Or make it so that one can do this with paying some x amount of AUR. edit: obviously allow this only a once in fixed timeframe.
Personally I like this trial and error thing. It makes things interesting to figure out how stuff works. Don't want hand holding. |

I like this, its also another great way to bring in a small amount of revenue. |

Yea but make it so it is limited to X amount of respec for every X amount of months.. Or else rich ppl will just be respecing every day.
in eve i think your allowed 2 a year or something but this is only for attributes not the SP spent, iirc |

Too true. I was mixing things up. And now that I see things clearly propably not so good idea what I proposed. And reason is that if it is permanent it makes you think and be carefull about your actions. Granted this only affects after one has made a mistake and realized it. |

Yeah hadn't crossed my mind about that, it'd be a good idea with a limit though. Keep kids from abusing mommy's credit card... |
