Salutations, I've began researching and training to get into a heavily armed support tank for Plateau matches. I need you guys to help me come up with a good fit. Keep in mind that i am using a Gunnlogi, the T1 Caldari HAV until i can get into a Sagaris. I wanted a shield tank ( obviously ) and i want to be using a missile launching system rather than a railgun or blaster. Hope you can help me out here, i could never get past the CPU and PG. |

Cover the entire tank with live babies, no one will shoot it. It shall be glorious. GLORIOUS I SAY!!
Trolling aside, I'm no tank driver, though I'm sure some of the STB guys could give you a hand, or at least know what they're talking about anyways. Good luck, I look forward to exploding your tank |

Dont necessarily use the very best modules in order to fit it out. Sometimes you will have to compromise and use a "lower" module in oder to fit the CPU and PG requirements. its better than leaving a slot blank. Buy one of each turret and a module and mix and match fittings until you get one that works for you. |

I don't know an exact fit, per se, but I'll mention a few general guidelines for fitting.
Put Power Diagnostic Systems in the lows. Make sure one high slot has a heavy booster. Ideally C3-L
Experiment with things in the highs, including extenders, resist mods, and damage controls. Remember that resist mods have a stacking penalty (.87 effect for the second, .57 for the third), but the DCU does not. Your goal is to make out your eHP, which is shield HP/resist, as high as possible. I typically ignore armor HP, because if you get into that you'll burn to death before you can repair it.
Tinker around to see what gives you the best eHP. Don't be afraid to swap out a PDS for a Powergrid Upgrade if you can get more eHP out of the extra bit of PG than what the PDS grants. |
