Sup guys.
New to the whole EVE scene, figured I'd give Dust a try since I'm a sucker for sci-fi shooters.
After spending hours creating my character, researching what all the factions did, what classes did what, good names, etc., I opted to give my first guy the SMG and Scout suit that came with the Merc pack. I then realized that I made a Sentinel, not a Scout. I promptly deleted the guy and remade him as a Scout, but alas, the gear I bought is now gone.
Did I lose my purchased items forever?
Also, the store description said both the SMG and the suit where "permanent", yet when I used them in-game they had 50 uses. Is that normal? |

hmm you might have put the fused locus grenades on the suit. They are only 50 pieces of it. Replace them with militia grenades and you should have unlimited usage. |

You need to make a new character I think now. Also, try sending a help request to [email protected], they helped a bunch of people with a similar problem out. |

If you delete a character with some dlc/reward militia stuff on it, it should definitely be refunded so you can assign it to another character IMO. |

Thanks for the help, guys.
I sent an email to support asking for an item refund. Hopefully they'll pull through and get me my gear back.
This whole "only one character can use this paid merchandise" system is INCREDIBLY unforgiving to noobs like myself, since I'm constantly making and deleting characters of different races and classes to check em out. Hopefully they'll change it by launch. |

Yep, I just did the same and lost some of my Merc pack gear. I really wish I didn't have to wait till the next wipe to get the gear back

i deleted mine on accident in the last build. It comes back with each new build, but I didn't bother emailing support to try to get more. |
