I've been playing Logistics for a small while now and I've noticed a small "difficulty".
It's hard to recognize Logis at a glance. The obvious exceptions being when using a repper on someone. Could something be done to make the player models stand out a bit more, in the "recognizing their suits at a glance" way? It would give team leaders an easier time assessing who-does-what and would help Logis prioritize repping targets.
A few suggestions would be color-coding their names/radar tokens by dropsuit or having a small icon where their marker on the overlay is (similar to the revival seringe when playing logistics) Maybe have the suits stand out more (color-wise) to allied team-mates (Amarr gold for heavies, Caldari blue for assaults, etc.) even if it's just making their blue rain-drop camo more vibrant.
A lot of the maps are gray and brown, and while I understand that the game is gritty futurism, it hails from an MMO that has gorgeous Nubula backdrops and a laser beam for every color in the rainbow. In dust, a lot of environments are just ... gray, almost as though we're only fighting on gravel. Yes they are battlefeilds, but battles don't only happen in the desert.
A lot of us are playing this on HD TVs, and those have huge color depth and contrast ratios, don't be afraid of using it.
A couple suggestions for that could be a jungle-themed guerilla warfare stage, or a fight on a volcanic planet made possible solely by force-feilds and suit's life-support systems. |

I probably should have done it in two posts... But yeah, in goes in line with what you posted as well - it's the "good character design tells you everything you need to know at first glance" that is lacking.
The other point was that the maps all feel gray and dull (not in layout, but in color scheme). Adding color (to in-game models and maps, the UI is fine) would be a welcome change in my book, especially since it could help distinguish heavies from scouts, and would liven up environments. |

I have a question, what constitutes a logi?
Problem is right now any tom **** and harry can pick up a rep tool and use it as well as a nanite injector, as long as they have the skills to use it and they have the cpu pg to fit it to there suit.
So should every player get a unique tag if there carrying these items, one of these items? both of them? should the tag change?
The current minmitar logi suits may have a bonus to hacking but none of there models have bonus to repair tool effectiveness or nanite injector or nano hive effectiveness.
I figure they should considering, that Logis get bonuses to there reppers in eve.
I dont think the tag thing will really help. |

Actually a tag would help I think
A clear indication for people that are carrying a repper or the nanite injector specifically like a Red Cross over their head or something. Thats the universal sign for a medic so that would be great. |

Don't force the tag on players but allow them to choose a certain role indicator for a loadout IF it meets the requirements. |

i totally agree that they should get bonuses to equipment as long as the bonuses dont make it obsolete for anyone else to try using a reper or a nano hive, i think its pretty easy to identify logi suits right now to be honest so i dont feel like there needs to be any tag **** either, maybe if there were little symbols you could pick from yourself to be displayed next to your name for teamates to see that way ppl could see if u are support or just a straight dmg mod AR spammer |
