Hello fellow Duster's. I'm just doing a post to see what all fits you all have. I'm mainly a Sniper but wondering what all everyone else is doing as far as fitting your drop suits. My current fit is Militia Assault Suit fitted with Militia sniper rifle, shield extender, light damage mod, cpu mod, armor rep, Nano hive, toxic submachine gun, and grenades. From what I've played so far, it works very well although you need electronics and engineering 4 in order to fit (extremely tight on PG). Feel free to comment about my fit and please post some fits of drop suits and vehicle fits.

Logistic Type-II dropsuit light damage, shield recharger, Tactical AR, stable nanohives, stable drop uplinks, militia locus grenade (forgot the other one/two things i have) Using logistics most of the time, I don't think I can accurately critique it, but it seems fine to me o.O |

Seems fine, I'm no sniper though. Be sure to make a fitting with a drop uplink. Spawn in it to begin with and put it in a relatively safe spot. It's incredibly useful and much needed in ambush. Your squad mates will be able to spawn safely from it as well. I see so few being deployed :( |

I am doing what everyone says you should not do (shocker)
I am spread way out in skills and often roll out in whatever suit the map and situation demand
I have logistics with drop uplink & nanohive. I have logistics with repair tool and nanite injector
I have a primary scout sniper with drop uplink and a carbon fit with all militia gear
I have a HMG fitting and a forge gun fitting. And I have a swarm/smg assault suit as well
On an open map at game start I tend to go fast scout and get an uplink on field where I think my team needs it most. Then I snipe
In a tight game or CQC map I do the same with the logi uplink suit.
Once I establish a 'base' (uplink and nanohive in a defendable location I spawn a heavy with HMG (or forge if vehicles are a threat)
Then I just rotate the suits depending on the battlefield needs
I am mostly spilling sniper this build to test but I can't stop myself from Jack of all trading myself into mediocrity. |

No it isn't. Only one low power slot on the militia assault suit. You must be thinking of the standard type 1 assault suit. |

I beg the differ on that. Prove to me that it's only got one low slot. |

Just load up the game and see for yourself. Two high slots, one low slot. I snipe in it all the time. It's easily the best suit for sniping with, if you don't want to get 4 or 5 in a suit skill. |

Dragonfly-SMG, with different primary weapons depending on the situation. Sniper for killing snipers, shotgun for close encounters, assault rifle for general killing until I get my SMG range up to snuff, etc. I'll probably go back to Swarm Launchers now that HAVs have returned with a vengeance, but it feels like such a waste to skill it up and spend the ISK for a 25% damage increase at most. The skillbook should really increase damage instead of splash radius. (Even when they finally un-nerf said splash damage.) |
