Is full of disrespectful people, am I the only one who feels this way? Matter of fact I am sure I will get trolled for stating this but thought CCP might care to know that it is the community that makes the game enjoyable or not. |

Nope. I have been poisoned by the venomous comments here. "go back I cod", "it's a beta" and "adapt or die" were 3 causes for my open minded entry to EvE / Dust turning to a "don't give a sht" mentality. Much more trolling and general "This is EvE, not an FPS" kinda posting besides.
Unfortunately it seems there are a vast number of people who wanted Dust on PC. There are a large amount of people who felt spawn camping was a "legit" tactic. Some of the idiotic things that have been said on here simply leads to a short temper, and no wish to associate with EvE players at all. That's pretty much made the whole "techno amazement" of being linked with a bunch I people I now consider to be complete arsehats, far less tempting.
GM Kiriap seems to be one of the few people locking threads and handing out discipline.
Essentially yes, the forums are poison, if you post, expect horrible replies. Take no notice of them, but xpect them.
And yeah, I'm sure people will troll you in this thread. |

Dude, usually ALL forums degenerate into this type of nonsense and I suppose it is somewhat the fault of human nature.
You are correct, but don't let it sway you and please feel free to post some love about this game to counteract the negative trolls.
DUST 514 will triumph and the haters are powerless to stop it.
COD has the most haters of all. Read their forums sometimes....... quite acidic. And it doesn't seem to slow that juggernaut down one bit. |

Well at least I am not alone, thanks. I just feel the ratio of "stupid, whiner, noob" to "thank you" would be embarrassing to me if I ran this forum. No disrespect to CCP as I am sure they have better things to do than babysit.
P.s. I am very optimistic about this game. CCP are one of my favorite things to come out of Iceland. Tied with MuM. |

And you will notice that many of the cool players/posters tend to reign in the disrespectful malcontents on their own intiative without the need for CCP to interfere.

did my comment actually offend you personally, it was not intended for you, sorry 
this game as well as eve has been described as a harsh place if you cant handle it after a few comments this may not be the place for you no offense but most of the actions in this side or EVE are player-driven and filled with mindgames and "colorful" behavior.
if this is your start, your in for a rough road bub. |

All forums that are unmoderated SolJae. This one is moderated, and tvh they stop the worst of it. But I didn't see a single CPP Dev/Gm tell people "go back to cod" can be harmful for a new game. No. They just let it roll. So that's the way this forum works. |
