A friend of mine made a serious complaint about Dust back in the first build, and while his complaint isn't a game-breaker for me or many of the other people posting on the forum, it was for him and I can see his point.
It's irritating to have to re-buy fittings.
Simple solution: Allow fittings to auto-replenish when you choose to spawn in them/call down vehicle. The ISK/AUR cost could be listed next to the fit and your total currency could be added somewhere on the menu possibly. When you spawn the fit, the cost is deducted from your wallet automatically. This would streamline this part of the game for players, and has no negative impact as far as I know.
Obviously in the future when player market etc is added, this might not work for certain fits or might not give the player the best cost-efficiency possible, but the old method would still be available for those willing to spend a bit more time to get the most out of their currency. |

If you tack on an ISK fee then I'm good with this. Say 25% delivery charge. |

Ithink the idea kinda runs against the idea the devs had for the game, youre spending, money you earned on this equipment, the buyer should know what he's doing with his things. This promotes smart playing and wise risk taking... doing something to lessen this risk makes it more like any other FPS.
I'd be on-board with the idea of allowing you to swap out something on the fly so you dont have an entire class get invalidated because you ran out of some piece of equipment that you really dont need.... |

Perhaps I wasn't clear on my description. I'm talking about adding a convenient way to replenish fits not a way to circumvent paying for them. As it stands, you have to go into the fitting window to replenish. I'm just saying allow this to happen automatically if you select a fitting which is depleted. It's no different than wading into the menu and hitting "restock" just more convenient. Thanks for the input, though. |

I like it the way it is. Sometimes I'm intentionally trying to use up what I have left of a particular gun or suit and don't need the game auto buying X assault rifle I've grown out of.
Then again I'm a micro manager and just like doing it all myself |

Nah, keep it the way it is now. If you auto-replenish everything in your fit, you'll probably run out of ISK and end up somethings not being fully stocked. Plus, if you add in the varying cost from each part, from each system, you might end up losing money then making it. The whole point of individually buying each piece is to be frugal with your money, not neglect it.
Playing with the market is probably one of the aspects that CCP wants to add into this game...if you stream line one process, it messes with other aspects of the game, such as salvaging, contracts...etc.
If players don't like micro managing their suits and clones, then you might as well invest your time into a different game. |

I'm sure CCP totally agrees with you. "If they can't figure it out, **** 'em! They can find a new game" |
