I love flying to Cobra/Hind in BF3, I realize a chopper wouldn't fit with the sci fi theme but might to be possible to have a vehicle with similar roll & controllability to an attack chopper.

at the moment a pimpd out dropship kicks ass. apart from no driver guns they can be deadly.

They've talked about plans to have 8 vehicle types in the game by release, including an APC, an attack aircraft of some sort, and a personal speeder bike of sorts. Two more vehicles after release are planned, including MTACs (mechs). |

Sounds good hopefully the APC and other stuff that coming out will be in beta so we can make sure its ballenced, also lets hope that APC can be fitted as a decent AA platform . |

8 at release the most likely are gunship, apc mtac fighter bikes along with tanks jeeps transport we habe now its only a brst guess which are going to be added.
However I would love a gunship type vehicle but there needs to be more anti air first
GÇó rapid fire anti air guns for vehicle would be great for balancing out mire air power
GÇó a upward facing shielding installation would provide air cover
GÇó a aerial anti air vehicle like a fighter
GÇó a wide covering area of effect weapon would help
GÇó smarter swarms
GÇó electronics warfare with jamming and such
Would provide plenty of anti air and air cover. Maybe a few types of gunship cpuld have different gun layouts |

Right now you have LAV, Logi LAV, Tank, Maurader, Dropship, Logidropship, and I think Blackops tank thats 7 right there. |

there will be over 20 vechicle types on the release,including gunships, bombers, fighters, wallkers, etc etc, be patient, atm we one have a small election of vehicles, since we're only testing stuff. |
