Firstly, I would like to suggest that Strategy and Tactics get their own forum, seperate from general/requests/bug reports.
Stick together! Move as a group, but spaced out far enough so that one grenade won't kill everyone at once.
Walk, don't run! Sprinting is for emergencies ONLY. If you sprint, chances are you will end up with your neck stuck out, and/or the logi trying to rep you will lose his lock.
Defend your teams vehicles! Enemies with AV are priority targets. Vehicles provide great suppressing fire, and a massive distraction to the enemy team. Do them a favor and focus down enemies carrying swarms, forgeguns and AV grenades.
Place nanohives and droplinks in cover! If you put them out in the open you are begging to be picked off by snipers, or have a whole restocking team run over by an LAV.
Defend your logis! How much did you spend on that suit? Would it be worth it to help out your logi for the chance of a rez? What about healing your armor back up? Or your vehicle? Logis are a real force multiplier, giving them real support and working as a team can have a massive impact on the team clone count.
Wait for rez! Check for the 'logi nearby' message, broadcast for help. If you were in a group, chances are the others can provide cover for the logi to stab you back to life, AND rep your armor back up. If a merc goes down in your squad, toss grenades and lay down some suppression so that the logi can rez the guy.
Use squad leader commands! Tag logis and vehicles with the defend tag. Everyone fighting in the vicinity gets boosted points! |

US military doctrine pretty much lays out that you never deploy tanks in an area with infantry without infantry support of their own. |

And they don't even have magic tank healing lasers.

Defend Drop Uplinks and CRU's! In Ambush especially, drop uplinks are your LIFELINE. It is 1000x better to have your guys spawn in a defended position than randumbly across the map. Coupled with a supply point, a drop uplink can be the difference between winning and losing. Controlled spawn location + infinite ammo and refit = win. |

I just want to say, if you see your enemy has a tendency to stick close together, switch to your mass driver and go to town |

Like I said, far enough apart so you don't all die from splash. Within half of the radar field-ish.
