Just wondering my CCP folks do you plan on cranking out some DLC much similar to the Merc pack, but how ever more geared towards current Dropsuit arch types? To some what illustrate my request, Like release a DLC for Assault, Logi ect...
However i would like to see them follow suit of the Merc pack and contain some decent BPO of specialized gear for each arch type, also mixed with gear that can be purchased at the market but you get a decent abundance of it like 50x? also still throw in the skill boost as that is good on its own and the AUR is also good!
I think it wouldnt take much for you guys to make and it would generate money! just make the MRSP price 15 for non PSN+ subscribers and 10 for PSN+ subscribers.
People always complain about losing gear too fast so if you pop out some BPO gear they wouldnt need to replace that cost on the dropsuit and also make them good enough to be purchased for new players and veterans. im sure people who play Dust will purchase them!
Personally if you dumped a DLC for each dropsuit type tomorrow and it had some decent radd gear and skill boost and AUR id buy it! 4000 AUR for 10bux for the Merc pack is good! and having a tailored made DLC for my favorite arch type id be all over that any fellow Dusters concur ?? |

like as a packaged deal you pick up from the market place?
I think it should consist of something that would generate money for CCP and not bought from ISK but money that can fund this game!

I think he means this is a Beta, not much point adding dlc to a game only 10% available (maybe less) |

what economy can the bpo hurt? there is no game economy yet the whole economy is a fixed price tha doesnt change until ccp tweaks it some more. |

On release schizo. I mean, I haven't bought any standard dropsuits. Militia or type 2. Start adding better BPO items, no one will spend ISK. I buy assault SMG's. But I wouldn't if I had the toxin SMG. CCP need to be careful. Skin weave and some assault suit will be ours anyway... 2 suits we won't buy for ISK. |

So, "lets add BPO's that people will love, and then get rid of them when the game is finished!" sounds like a poorly thought out argument to me.

It would make having a good suit way to easy. Sure, maybe you have to save your ISK for a few days to get it, but when you get it, never again do you have to buy it. All of a sudden, you have a large advantage over everyone that doesn't have that.
Another issue, is that it would hurt the economy. If everyone bought BPO's, a player driven economy would be purposeless. |

There will be no DLC of any kind. They're called game patches, and they're all free (though some gear might cost AUR, just like some gear currently does). |

The gear you get in the merc pack is pretty low-calibre. I don't see the BPOs ruining the economy, it's mostly just an alternative to militia gear as it stands. |

yeah merc pack is different from militia crap but i mean just something to make a decent loadout for your favorite dropsuit variant! i know the merc pack stuff is low caliber but i mean make something that is decently playable for the new to average player that will help you cut a little cost and add that skill boost! |
