Second, you can talk go to settings turn voice chat on and you have to hold a button to speak. Finally, this is not a run and gun I can tell you that right now this is a game where you really do have to work as a team.

However the players in-game are the reason(s) as to why; they bring their bad habits they have learned, or developed through other games, and it just follows them whether they are concious of the fact or not. Since I grew up on the earliest of FPS titles from PC.. I will admit I am a run & gun, Rambo death dealing junkie. I cannot camp, and refuse to sit and wait for the opposition. It's a habit I picked up as a kid from early FPS games, and because it was just who I am as a person. Fits my style. Player habits though shape the game, and I am a very, very tiny minority. Majority? I'd say it's a mixture of younger generations who started with newer games, and picked up some camping habits. Do not get me wrong though. I am a solid team player. I will take an objective, and keep it. I'll throw out nanohives, or pull out my proton pack, and heal you. Anyway.. Yeah.

I am an older player and i fully agree with agressive cordnitation to accomplish a goal but i have not been able to do this in dust in the recent past.

Yo' do not forget games like Quake, Unreal Tournament, and HEXEN. All great solid titles too from earlier days. Man back in the day your life span was seconds, and a minute or two if you were great. No time or need to camp. Good days, and a players kill to death ratio? Did not matter. Ha-ha. As for the microphone settings in Dust514? CCP should set them to be natively [On] instead of off. Push to talk (PtT) aside of course. Still you can hear me on my mic any given time I play. Whether I am raging, cussing or trying to get my team to push towards the objective. I wish more people would turn their microphone settings to [On], but I cannot lay full blame on them as I said. CCP should have set it to [On] anyway from the get go.

(I loved that game) However, this game has not turned into Mag. (other than yes, it is objective based and works well with teamwork) Second, the game does have voice chat. It's push to talk, but you have the option to switch it to always on. Third, you say this game is run and gun. Not really. You can sort of do that in ambush, but not really with skirmish. Especially against a decent semi-intelligent opposing team. Forth, please explain to me how this game is "pay to win". I hear that from a small population of players, but it makes no sense to me. You can buy aurum gear, but that stuff is only MARGINALLY better than it's isk counterparts. Not enough of a difference to make any substantial effect on the battlefield. Even that will be negated, once the p2p marketplace opens up and you have ppl selling aurum gear for isk. At best, you can call the aurum gear "pay for convenience", but not "pay to win".

CCP need to realise they are making this game for console FPS players not the likes of you. Go back to eve and play tanks in space there.
