I purchased the Sony PS3 wireless headphones mic combo yesterday, but didnt seem to have any success using it in game. I bought the UVT just in case, and still no responses. Is there a guide somewhere on the setup or what i should look for to verify functionality in game? Thanksmobile search well as I'm on a mobile. |

Make sure that you have voice turned on to the team channel and PPT off.
If you are using the PS Move camera try removing it and rebooting. I had a dead mic issue that was fixed by that . |

Oh and test the mic in the system audio settings to be sure the system is configured properly. |

that and there are a LOT of people not using open comms due to not having mics and/or being in squad comms. |

Uvt's have no use yet bro, they are for when we fight on different planets/star systems etc. They are not for team/squad chat.
Make sure voice chat is enabled in options, turn push to talk off, and make sure everything is connected right using the xmb. I'm having no problems with voice chat, so those who are having problems aren't doing something right. Also don't forget that if you choose to leave push to talk turned on, its left on the d pad...not right on the d pad like some people are trying.

Sometimes the game will not detect the mic even though the PS3 sees it in the accessory settings and the loopback test works. Restarting the game fixes this. |
