I know there is tons of stuff more urgent than this, but I felt it was worth mentioning anyway.
One of the first things I noticed when entering the beta was that you could not spin the camera 360 degree around your avatar in merc quarters and the battle room. It makes not sense to me why it is not implemented, as part of the fun is to see your avatar in these cases. Especially if you later can get custom outfits (hint hint custom suites that fit your corporation).
I remember when ship spinning was (temporarily) removed from EVE and what reaction it caused in the community. Please implement it, as it has no impact in the rest of the game.
Keep up the good works!!! Really enjoying this game!

I am not saying that this is a bad idea. Personally, I think it is kind of cool. But, my question for you is how/ what button function would suit this request? In my mind it feels as ifthe right thumbstick would be ideal, but that governs the avatar's movement and rotation. Perhaps the trigger buttons (R2 and L2) would work. Are these mapped to anything currently? |

Camera still functions with the right analogue stick, but when your avatar is standing completely still and the right thumbstick is held in one direction for a short period of time, it goes into "Avatar spinning mode." And if you command your avatar to move then it will just turn and go in the direction your camera is pointed at. |

How's this.
Make the camera in non-combat environments work more like third-person hack'n'slash games and less like third person shooters. Your character always faces the direction of movement, so you can move towards the camera and see your character front-on. |

This exactly! Or take Uncharted as an example. |
