If they aren't looking into this already they really should, heavy armor repairer for heavy suits, the little bugger just doesn't cut it it for repping 600+. I know theres active armor repairers, but I'd still argue for a much more cpu and powergrid expensive passive heavy one that inneffectively gives more rep/s. |

I think your title should say "Infantry Heavy Armor Repairer", as there is already a vehicle version.
Besides that, though This would be very useful. Though it would probably need to be very intensive in CPU or PG to discourage other suit types from using it. |

As it stands right now, I can't think of many good reasons to go for armor tank over shield tank.
I get what they're going for. But it's simply not worth it to go for armor tank. Shield tanks get both agility and regen. While armor tanks just get slightly more solid health. Whoopie. |

Well when base resistances come in, shields will go a lot faster than armour |

Yeah, and most newbies will go for shield tanks rather than armor tanks because of how shields regenerate. Regenerating health killstreaks lololol
Then my pulse laser rifle will chew them up and spit them out. |

I'm looking forward to autocannons on my tank. No more pellet shooting blaster |

I am also hoping remote armor repairing will remain more meaningful than remote shield boosting. This makes shields more useful for people who run around and armor more useful for absorbing massive damage when backed up by a logi in a team. |

He's asking for a better way for his friends to do exactly that.
They already have a vehicle-focused Repair Tool that repairs vehicles faster than normal at the cost of Dropsuit repair speed. If they do a Heavy Repair Tool, it should work along similar lines. Higher CPU/PG use, SLIGHT buff to Infantry repair, and significant buff to vehicle repair. |

Pretty sure he's asking for active self-repair equipment, where right now we only have the 2 hp/s passive repairer. (There are more advanced repairers, but between cost and requirements I haven't been fitting them yet.) |

An ACTIVE Infantry Armour repper would be a better option in that case. Something you have to switch on manually, with a cooldown. Repairs fast, so Heavies can armour tank (they're MEANT to be armour tanking, but right now, it's not really viable), but not really practical to use in the middle of a large firefight. |

The passive armor reps equal to about 5+ min rep time for heavys if they have taken reasonably high damage. |

(Although for some reason I still roll out with it equipped every time. I need to re-think that.) I like the idea of an active armor repairer where you could settle somewhere when the battle cools down and fix your armor within 30 seconds or so. As Garrett said, useless in a firefight, especially since you can't run an active module and a weapon at the same time. |

@XBARTX99: % based rep doesn't really feel like they fits into the game. |
