Ok first off I would like to say I am very excited about this game.
However, it needs a major rework for it to be successful on the consoles. Two major issues are UI and lack of explanation. I for one think the UI is crap. It's way to cluttered and were bombarded with walls of text. The font also needs to be bigger in my opinion. As for the lack of explanation I beleive a tutorial must be created to explain all mechanics of the game from out fitting to the battlefield along with economy and purchase etc. Also there should be an offline option where we can practice etc. Finally I think once we buy something or unlock something we shouldn't have to replenish it. It should be ours forever. That's just my two cents on what you guys need to do to make it successful on the console.
PS apologize for English if it's bad, it's not my first language. |

unfortunately this is ccp were talking about even in eve when ur ship is blown up all the stuff on that ship is gone unless u can get back to the place where u were killed to salvage wat u can . when u die in dust all of the items on that clone dont magically get transfered with u, it stays with the body. its keeps the economy in new eden from collapsing because its the corps that make our weapons and its the way they make money. |

PS apologize for English if it's bad, it's not my first language. One of the key parts of the Dust/Eve economy is the value of resources, CCP is going for realism and the need to replenish makes it that much more engaging and risky. As for the UI, it is a CCP game: LOTS of information, LOTS of character factors. I personally like that, just my opinion though. Explanation: Yes, there should be more of it, I personally figured out just about everything I needed to know in the first day of playing (and I started at the beginning of the beta so nobody could help me out). But I understand that there are people out there who are older or need less of a steep learning curve and CCP should really work on a better tutorial. Until then just experiment, if something isn't immediately obvious just look around a bit. A bigger font? Not really sure what you mean by that but I think the current size is sleeker and more fitted to this "futuristic" world, just a personal aesthetics thing. I do agree with you that there should be an offline mode, and I think there soon will be, or at least a shooting range of some sort where you can practice and test new weapons. |
