Does anyone know if we will be getting cloaking tools (if they are modules or equipment) during the current or next build? Or will we have to wait until the game is released. It is nearly impossible to sneak right now without them.
And don't say "SOONGäó"..... |

But really, its not " impossible " to sneak up. Use your terrain and wait till there attention is away from you. Your not ' invsable ' but you have a better chance. You probly know to GO SLOW and not run up behind them too. Being sneaky is fun.  |

Ooops, I meant to put that it was 'nearly impossible', because I have actually sucsesfully snuck into an objective, capped it, and snuck out while there where one or two guys in the area. I also snuck past a logi and an assault then behind a sniper that was guarding B on Plataues (no idea how to spell that), and I killed him with my knife. It was so satisfying.
Once when I was defending C on Communications (the really huge 5 objective one), I hid behind a corner and a logi walked right past me and started to cap C. Two seconds later and he was killed by a headshot from my pistol.
I just need the cloak mods to make it a lot easier, cause dropsuit command is bugged ATM. |

Also train the skills that reduces your signature radius... I believe this may effect how far away you show up on the mini-map to other players depending on their scan strength....any module that that reduces your signature radius will make you more stealthy and if it works like in EVE it will reduce the DPS a single hit can do depending your opponent's scan resolution strength.
At least I think that is how it works... don't quote me on it...

^The skill that reduces your signature radius is bugged right now I believe. I have it at level IV and people can still see my on the radar the same way it would be without the skill. |

The dropsuit operation skill works as intended, it's just that it's not a reliable stealth skill. You know how the icons flicker on your radar? That's the kind of stealth you're talking about. I really like how I might be able to see someone nearby on my radar, then they drop off and I have to hunt nervously for a visual.
Active radar equipment, by my understanding, will be an item you can drop to give you a pocket where you can detect these enemies more reliably. |

Ah, I forgot about the Active Scanner things. Still, CCP, we need cloaking SOONGäó. |

Dropsuit command shows your red dot when you are in a lune of sight, but at hig levels it disappears instantly once they can't see you. |
