I made thread about this in feedback a build ago but its coming here now
Why cant clones open and close certain doors?
I would says its racism or that they locked all the doors to keep the fighting out but certain doors are open and certain ones are closed, so those wont do. To a clone thats ready to die over and over again, a locked door should be child's play especially if we have devices designed to hack enemy installations.
As of right now I feel like Im am walking through a dream world when playing, it not all quite there. The locked door on the right of the gallente base is always closed and if it was open able that little area up there could be a sweet spot.
CCP Im not trying to be a "I need stuff to explore/hack" but cant all door be opened/closed/hacked open with square. If I cant shut a door to incoming fire or save the guy on the other side from certain death it breaks that fun factor. I could of unlocked it for him but no the dead static world around me makes me battle across 2 flights of stairs to get to him.
The world is dead and thats my issue with DUST; I understand its beta and am willing to wait for this feature but we cant ignore doors. I feel like Im in that movie/book the "Langoleirs" |

Open/closeable doors would be nice, even if they were automatic. At least you would be able to hear when someone runs into the room behind you. |

it'd be cool if you could do something to the dorr, like a new equipment module that looks a door behind you. The higher the level of equipment, the longer it takes to hack the door from the otherside. It can also be shot off the door tp unlock it for the other side, if you find your way around.

I want to sit cloaked next to a hydraulic door and close it every time an enemy approaches
and then open it again when they back away
...and then crush them with it when they try to rush through the haunted door |

logis should be able to hack doors to lock or unlock doors for shortcuts for the team.
all in all more interaction with the environments would be cool. |
