I believe that since dust is a win or lose game based on communication, being forced to use coms based on buying AUR may kill the game. I noticed that since coms became an AUR purchase, there have been fewer and fewer people on coms making the game more and more frustrating to play. Just my opinion. |

Maybe CCP should offer new skillbooks: Forum Search (1x), Double Posting (2x), Constructive Critique (8x) and Trolling (0x) |

I don't remember how much they were, and I can't check because they have apparently been set to 1 AUR for any of them...but depending on the price, you may or may not be able to count on enough people buying them and putting them on the ISK market. As long as they don't cost too much AUR, it won't be a problem...plenty of people will sell them for ISK. But again, it all depends on how much AUR they cost and how they run on the market. Keeping the AUR cost fairly low, though, might be a good place to start. CCP has to make money somewhere though. :P |

if the prices are 1 AUR for 30days then i can fund my entire clan one each for a while tbh
that being said take a look at my UVT feedback thread https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=32081&find=unread |

I doubt it OP. Most people don't have mics, so how can this decision kill the game? |

No, you need to buy it(something like that for examples: http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&partNumber=PS398085 or any other that have USB plug in).
In eve any decent corporation have it own TS3, Mumble, Ventrilo server but still there are people in each corporation that don't use it(they don't want to socialize to the same extent as the other :P) - but it does not destroy the game.
edit: moreover, when CCP open market - everyone will sell UVT for ISK. |

Then the default is set to push-to-talk, so you have to push the left arrow on the D-pad to talk. You can change this either in the chat window (hit Select) or in the game options on the neocom. I find it very inconvenient to hit the left arrow while I'm trying to do anything else, so I just turn off push-to-talk by default. |

Everyone's forgetting that the PSEye (which anyone using Move will have) is also a mic. Not a very GOOD one, but it's possible to use it if you need to. |

^ this! There is no excuse to not have a mic. cell phone blutooth headsets, ps3 USB headsets, PSEye, any plug n play PC mic......they all work. I use my PC headphones and mic.....and my PSEye for backup. They way I remember in eve, if you were in a corp and had no voice coms.......bye bye corp, they kick ur a$$ out, same will go for dust, no mic no corporation. Get a mic (to those who don't have one) or be prepared to go lone wolf when we get corps added. |
