I often seem to be getting you have been disconnected messages when in the middle of a battle and when I press x to continue it loggers me out of the system and I have to re log back in. But the thing is I'm not disconnected. Last one I got I did not press x and it looked like the game was still going on. I could still see the players moving around, I dies and was asked to respawn by pressing x. I didn't respawn however because to press x would log me out from the you have been disconnected message still up on the screen. And finally the MCC was destroyed, I got my sp add up. Showing about 12 k sp and about 80k isk. Although I could see my sp total the wallet total said 0isk. And then it kicked me to my quarters as per usual and still with this you have been disconnected message always on my screen |

Ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Since 10pm EST, last night, I have been constantly having to restart Dust in order to even so much as make a character. Since 10 last night, all I have been able to do is make a character and walk around the main lobby, and that was achieved JUST 10 MINUTES AGO... This is getting utterly ridiculous having to "reconnect" to the network every couple of minutes. It's driving me insane. I mean, I know the game is in Alpha but this is just bad. If I can't even get a game in without the game telling me I've been disconnected when I'm actually not, it's bad.
I've tried many different wi-fi networks in my area and all of them have had the same issue. For the past 19 hours, I've been trying to simply connect to the server to download essential update files. Every time I would try and connect, it would tell me that I've been disconnected or that my game cache was corrupt. Well now it has stopped telling me my game cache is corrupt and has actually let me make a character. Now, nothing specific causes it to arise, but the game is kicking me off saying it is unable to sign into PSN when I'm clearly online and haven't been booted off of my network. All of my other games work, I have no clue what to do and I'm pretty sure this isn't a Sony issue because they have been fine with all of my other games.
Someone at least tell us there will be something to help this issue. |

Someone needs to help with this. This is honestly making the game beyond unplayable. Also, since I've had the game downloaded to my hard drive, my PS3 will freeze up on occasion (only during playing the game) and tell me my hard drive is corrupt and it needs to attempt a repair. Thankfully the repair works every time but this is just getting nuts. I've been super psyched for this game, and AGAIN, I know it's just in beta, but I've seen games better in Alpha than this thing is in beta.
EDIT: Although, gameplay wise (I was finally able to get in one), it is great and I haven't had an issue with the gameplay thus far. But I would like to experience more than just one game.
EDIT 2: Now that I actually made it into a game, the game continued on even though it says I was disconnected (makes no sense at all) and the announcer is telling me (because I'm watching the game play out on my screen even though the sign that says "Unable to connect to PlayStation Network" is still up) that I'm going to have it marked on my record that I didn't participate in this battle. Now because of this thing, I'm suffering in-game consequences. This is highly frequent, and the error is incorrect seeing as I recorded video of the game still going on while I sat there with the screen telling me I was disconnected was still up... Super super frustrating. |
