i think it has something to do with whether or not you get a red thingy over your head when spotted from a distance
not entirely sure though, might also have something to do with the active scanners (currently empty market category) |

Yeah, bugged etc, not worth investing in, move along now, move along....
But on the serious side, I'm pretty sure it makes you go off the mini map quicker when you get out of visuals for the enemy. |

In the previous build, it determined the distance at which the marker appeared over your head (whether for friends or enemies). Smaller numbers mean the enemy has to get closer. Scouts have low Signature Profile, Heavies are high.
A few people said in the previous build that the stat was bugged and didn't work, but it seemed to function just fine for me. The same thing has been said about this build, but I haven't been able to test it much for myself yet, so I don't know if it's still working or not. It's possible it's actually broken in the new build, it's possible it works and not many people have figured it out.
Because a lower stat is better, units with a LARGE Signature Radius (like Heavies) will see more noticeable improvements from upgrading Dropsuit Command, but Scouts are better suited to take advantage of the reduced radius. |
