How do you do them. When I was playing a skirmish game (I think) it said Orbital strike ready for squad leader on the side of the screen, or something along the lines. Is there a module you have to buy?
Also, does anyone know how much times we will be character wiped before the final game? (Just curios) |

From what I understand you first have to acquire an accomodation while in-game and on the battlefield. From there you need to bring up your call-in menu, and it should (does not always seem to work?) have a fourth option below dropship which should then allow you to call in an orbital strike. Whether or not you have to be a squad leader or not though -- I have no idea. Still this is what I have heard, and it seems to be accurate. Personally I have gotten several accomodations while not a SL (Squad Leader), but was unable to call in said orbital strike. Not that it affected the outcome, or my match in the least.
Edit:
As far as I have heard, and know -- you do not need a module, or specialized equipment. |

it is my understanding that only squad leaders can call orbital strikes and yes, you hit the d-pad button like you are calling in a vehicle and it will appear at the forth option.

It alerts everyone in the squad that the squad leader has an OS, but only the squad leader can use it. |

I was just unsure of whether or not that being a squad leader was necessary. That was all, but I was still sure of all of my other information to which I was accurate, and correct. I do believe however that the accomdation and alert message that relates to the orbital strike should be voiced though. As it stands the notification while "gold" is too transparent and goes largely unnoticed, or unrecognized as it usually is muttled and cluttered by other displays and in-game hazardous objects in-game. I've alos voiced my concern on the need to voice the notification for in-coming or close by triage support characters whom are able to resuscitate a down player. |

This question may sound stupid but how can I find out who's the squad leader? Is it under player list? Does it have a special icon indicating who the leader is? |

It will show you whom is your SL (Squad Leader) by the indicated symbol of two stripes next to their name, and portrate. Usually seen when you bring up your channels and are looking at your team, or more precisely your squad. |

If I may ask, what is a "accommodation" for Dust, do you have to get a certain amount of points or? (Noob question) |

As for how an accommodation (sorry I have been misspelling the word) is acquired in and on the battlefield of Dust514 -- I am unsure of. Sadly. I would surmise though that these accommodations or accolades are earned through a mixture of taking objectives, and being a team player, but maybe also accumalating a certain amount of kills too as well. CCP is very vague, and has not really told us ever how they are earned. |

Ahhh, well thank you, and everyone else for the information. I had a really good chance to drop a stike on a enemy position, sadly at the time didn't know how, haha. |

No you will not carry anything to the real game except Aurum you buy. That's all. |

Actually the only items that will carry from wipe to wipe is those bought, and purchased through the "mercenary pack" available through PlayStation Network. Beyond the only available pack though, or AUR purchased through in-game, or again PlayStation Network you will not be carrying over any items, skill points, or ISK. |

Hmmm interesting, I guess we cant really tell of how much times the wipes will occur, however my guess is two, for when the open beta occurs, and then the full release of the game (There could be more :Shrugs:)
Hey, I also have another question. When I am running around I see enemy's on radar and in front of me behind hills as red marks. How do you know when your detected and listed, does crouching help or is it useless. They sometimes disappear full on, and I have had more than one case where the guy was right behind me and he wasn't in my mini map? |
