Hello fellow Dust Bunnies. This new build was irritating me at first because I couldnt seem to hit anything with my ar. But while I was playing last night I noticed it wasnt the hit detection, it was me. I have 2 and a half years of bad MAG habits that I have to break. As soon as I stopped playing it like MAG and started playing it like Dust 514 I was doing 100% better. I got all excited.  |

I do better playing it like MAG. But the hit detection is feeling so much better. I think the only real issue now is latency. If you have a mixed group (US&EU) you get screwed. I played with some yanks last night. Never again. Had to lead my targets by 4 miles, and I died instantly to militia assault rifles.
I have found the issue. |

I cant play it like MAG cuz I think im Rambo and you cant do that here. I gota be more tactical here. I have experienced what you are talking about tho. And you can tell because the whole battle will be one sided. Highest kills on the losing team will be 5 and the winning team will be 18 and the lowest is 5. |

DUST is my first fps. What is the difference you are referring to between play styles? How do you play like MAG? |

I dont agree I play almost all modern shooters and this game has serious problems with hit detection. |

Being very careless. Just runnin in there thinking I can just kill everyone and everything in my path. But here you have to plan your attacks better. If you see three guys around the corner you cant just run around the corner with the trigger held down thinking your gonna mow them all down. Instead you have to pop out of the corner pick one off, take cover, reload, pick another off. You know what I mean. On mag if there was three people i would ambush them shooting them up running towards them and start knifing them off. |

Its not as good as some other shooter out there BUT it definitely has improved since last build |

Thanks man. Yes. I have been following this game for a long time now waiting for it to come out. When I first bought my ps3 I bought MAG and Need for Speed Undercover. I had never played an online game before until MAG. I was instantly addicted. So that was all I played. Of course I started getting a little bored with it last year and since they just threw it away like they did I was keeping my eye out for another game that was similar. You know fully multiplayer with no campaign. Didnt like cod or battlefield. Then I heard someone talk about Dust and I was like whats that? So i looked it up on youtube and watched the trailer and I was like wow, this looks appealing. So I read more into it and it turned out my son plays eve so I was like heck ya. Im definatley dedicated to this game. It will be all I play for a long long time im sure. |

Yes thanks to the new hit detection I found out, I really suck with a shotgun.
Now only if the Shield HP bar lag would fix itself. |

I found out I rock with it. Back in replication I wrote it off as a "LoL no" weapon. It's clearly verging on being OP.
Thanks to JustBad for killing me so much with one, it made me try again. |
