I noticed in various announcements about the precursor patch that the vita companion app for dust was going to be released.. has anyone gotten access to it yet, or will we just have to wait?
I know I'm impatient, but the market and fitting sound a lot more accessible with a touchscreen.
Maybe we can even throw together fits in the middle of battle via it, that'd be very cool. |

Same here. My VITA is just sitting pretty for the moment. I thought it would be out on the 21st with the update along with our skin weave and half off merc packs. |

I thought the Vita app was supposed to come out on the 21st as well. I would love to have in hand so we can go ahead and test it out. |

I have been considering buying a PS Vita but these comments actually make me have second thoughts about it. Do you guys not play games on them after the newness of it wore off? |

Ask yourself this: do you FREQUENTLY find yourself out and about, bored, going "gee I wish I had something to play with"? Do you not own a smartphone? Is there something in the current/future Vita game lineup OTHER than the Neocom app that you can see yourself playing for a long time?
Because I can guarantee you that if you spend $250 just for the privilege of using the pause menu from dust 514 outside of the game, with other vita games as an afterthought, you are going to regret it |

I can see this being the case at some point but typically I am at home. But I would like to have one in case I did have to go out of town or somewhere that I had to wait for a long time. I do like the idea of being able to play my games on my PS3 and pick it back up where I left off while away from home.
I certainly wouldn't buy one merely for the Dust Neocom (although I did buy the PS3 for Dust) but I would certainly play other games on it. |

well we can change fitting urring battles so... I assume yeah we can use the vita instead of ps3 while we play! that means never ending battles while you outfit suits, buy gear and level up skills! |

I hope they release this for the phone the Sony Xperia.
The ps vita is sadly doomed to fail like the psp its initial sales were dismal.
However. My ability to interact with dust might dictate my choice in aquiring a smart phone seing I dont already have one. |

I have actually been contemplating getting a Vita as well. I have owned every version of the PSP to include the PSPgo, but after its horrible failure, i wasnt going to get anymore PSP products. For some reason the Vita is getting more appealing everytime I look at it, im just worried Sony will do like they did with the GO, promise great things, and tons of games, but then only port PS1 titles to it, and a few new games. Who wants to spend $250 on a new device to play old outdated games?... lol With DUST Neocom app, and a few other titles i have seen coming out soon, i may take the plunge. |

I never owned any of then, but the vita caught my eye, love it, use it most nights now :).
