As a squad leader, I got access to a percision strike, so I ordered it down in an area with a few red dots... I get a message saying the strike request was granted and incomming... No kills confirmed, but I get a LAV dropped right by me. I was a little confused, as I was the only one in that area. I checked to make sure I didnt order an LAV by mistake. Nope, the orbital support was no longer available so I definitely used it.
So I'm still a bit confused. You guys dont have a model of LAV called the Percision Strike do you? :P |

they probably should make one... nothing says hand to hand combat like being run over by some kid in his mother's shopping trolley. |

I think its more likely some one ordered an lav near you that you didnt see, and sadly your precision strike didnt kill any one. Almost every skirmish match i have played I have seen at least one precision strike used and it cleaned house. |

that would be a great precision strike, throw down LAVs filled with explosives on your opponent  |

That could be a possibility. At the time that I called the strike, my team was advancing to another point. We had just finished clearing out some enemies after hacking one of their terminals. The LAV spawned right by me though, and there was nobody there to claim it... But I did encounter enemies pushing the area.
So it's possible that the person calling in the LAV was killed while waiting for it to be dropped in. I could have totally missed that when I was calling in the orbital support.
But anyways, I was a little confused. That does make a lot more sense. |
