they really are, its really frustrating when your tank gets blown up even behind cover because somehow, those rockets can turn at a 90 degree angle straight at your tank/ lav.
and i feel even worse for dropship pilots, even though they can manage to maneuver around them, they always come back, with an infinite flight time.

Tanks are kinda annoying too, and apparently so are snipers, and dropships, and the forge gun, and pretty much everything else in the game.
Use your reps as soon as you're hit by the first swarm volley and you'll likely survive if you start moving even in a militia tank(unless you're in an open area). It takes time for a swarm launcher to lock on to you and they need to be able to see you the whole time they're locking on. |

the game is still in beta im sure they are working towards weapon's doing the correct thing hell we dont have to buy ammo yet just wait till that comes out "ima pump you full of anti-matter and see what happens" |

I come from the last build and anyone who played it knows we got hammered by tanks all the time, it was not uncommon to see the 3 Marauder tanks on the field owning the board, only thing saving anyone were them annoying swarm launchers. Of course it would take like 4 Swarmers to take out one of these tanks. If I see you in a tank expect me to use all the tricks I learned to blow you apart. That is my job and you should be lucky you are dealing with dumb swarm missiles. These new ones take longer to lock and more often then not run into things. |

No where near as annoying as trying to fire them now, half the time the target reticule doesn't come up, you can't launch them in any direction anymore, where you used to be able to launch them up and over or round an obstruction, now they do it on their own but in a random direction most of the time putting them in to the obstacle rather than round it. And having to maintain line of sight to your target just puts you in the line of fire of the vehicle for longer than you would want to be.
It currently takes at least 4 vollies of a militia swarm to take out a militia HAV so you've got plenty of time to get away or take out the AV guy, but as a HAV driver myself it's the AV grenades I don't get, they supposed to do around 200 damage and carry 3 of them, so it shouldn't touch the shield of an armor tank, but they always blow my HAV to pieces in seconds from full armor.

Thats a typo in the description... they need to add a zero at the end. Although, it wont matter soon as ppl get their skills back for their good tanks. I'm personally less likely to go hunting them with proto swarms everytime I see one, so it may end up that they only have to fear other tanks unless everyone starts carrying av grenades or has an av dropsuit fit. It will be interesting to see how the players will adapt. |

be happy in the first build they just have needed a short view on the tank to lock on and they havent need to see you to fire. |
